FRAGMENTS OF SILENCE
It flew by, vaguely—
losing its shape,
faking expressions over and over again.
I am somewhere in the middle of nowhere,
on a path still without a name.
I wear the time I have lived,
and the imagination it left within me.
The longer I live,
the less I believe life was ever asking
to be answered.
I carry what has been
toward what has never been.
Somewhere between them,
I continue.
